I Was A Drill Sergeant...

1. Do you know what your REAL hair color is?

I do NOW, but there was a time when your guess would have been as good as mine!

2. Do you plan ahead for summer, or fly by the seat of your pants?

I guess a little of both. We usually try to plan a vacation somewhere, but the rest of the summer just kind of goes with the flow. With my new job, I get the month of July off, so I am pretty excited about that--should be plenty of crafting and cooking time, and maybe even some pool time in there.

3. What is your favorite meal to cook?

Its hard to pick just one, but I have this recipe for Mongolian Beef that is pretty hard to beat.

4. Do you get offended by not receiving thank yous?

Hmmm, I try to do stuff without expecting one, but it can get a little annoying when you do something for those who just seem to expect it. And I do think that it is still appropriate for a written Thank You to be sent when you have some sort of shower--baby, wedding, housewarming, etc.

5. How did you meet your best friend?

I met the female half of Team Jacie, who I would say is my bestie, at church. And of course, our friendship grew when I was putting her youngest, Mater through Baby Boot Camp. Apparently, I am somewhat of a schedule Nazi (hey, babies love schedules!), so Mater's Dad would call me a drill sergeant. But Mater is really smart now and well adjusted--when he wins the Heisman or beats the computer on Jeopardy someday, I feel sure he will totally give credit to Aunt Stacie's Baby Boot Camp. (That's my most recent pic of him, ain't he a cutie? He's starting to look like a little boy and not a baby!)

Run, Forrest, Run...

1. Have you ever forgotten your child in a store or at school?

N/A--but while we are talking about this, I could never get over how many people would forget to pick their kids up when I was directing a Child Care Center. One lady even forgot on Christmas Eve once. I mean, the dry cleaning-yes, toilet paper at the store-yes, but your kid? REALLY???? Now, I'm not judging, Moms speak up if there is something that I am missing here..

2. Where did you go on your very first date? (Like...first first, not first with your spouse or current significant other!)

I don't remember where we ate but we went and saw some movie with Christian Slater--you could probably take 3 people to the movies for what it costs for one now--ahhh, the good old days.

3. What's your "silly" fear? (We're not talking water and heights.)

Hmmm, I think that all of my fears are valid, but probably a fear of mice and bugs, I mean I do kind of have a size advantage...

4. Confrontation: do you cause it, deal with it as it comes, or run far far away?

Run, Forrest, run...I'll confront if I think that someone else is being treated unfairly before I will speak up for myself. Sometimes I do think it is necessary, but for the most part all angry confrontations do is toss a bunch of words out that you can't take back. For the record, that whole sticks and stones stuff is a bunch of crap...

5. Wood floors or carpet?

You know how you always want what you don't have? All of my homes have had carpet, but I thought hard woods are so pretty, so when we bought, we bought a home with hardwoods. Man, the upkeep is killing me! I know that all of the dust that I now see was hiding in my carpet, but it drives me crazy. Our house is very dusty, I dust and run the electric sweeper daily, but I can't keep up with the dust under furniture and the hardwoods hide nothing. Our next house will definitely not be all hardwood, maybe a mix.

Girl Scouts & Their False Advertising

1. Can you drive a stick shift?

Nope, and I really have no desire to learn.

2. What are two foods you just can't eat?

I am probably the pickiest (fat, plus-sized, husky, more-to-love, insert whatever you think is most politically correct here) gal you will ever meet. There are a lot of foods that I want no part of, but the 2 biggest offenders, the I-won't-touch-it-if-I even-think-it-might-contain-them are tomatoes (raw--I'll eat them cooked as long as they aren't big chunks) and mayonnaise.

3. Do you buy Girl Scout Cookies? What is your favorite kind?

Yeah, let's talk about those cute little girls in green standing outside of the grocery store looking all pitiful, begging you to buy their cookies. "Please buy my cookies so I can go to camp and make friendship bracelets and talk about Justin Bieber. Pretty please?" Well, I have been buying their Thin Mints for years and guess what? I AIN'T THIN!! They don't work!

4. How do you pamper yourself?

I love, love, love, love a hot bath and a book. It is my favorite time for me. But I also love a good pedicure as well, and though I haven't had many, massages can't be beat.

5. What is your nickname and how did you get it?

No real consistent nicknames. People who know me well will shorten Stacie to Stace. And the Rev has some pet names for me that you don't need to know. He has also been known to refer to me as the Napkin Captain whenever we are out to eat because I always get a big stack of napkins, you never know when you might need those...

Dust Bunnies Are Not Cute!

1. Have you worn the same outfit more than one day in a row?

Probably not the exact same outfit, but I usually wear a pair of pants, especially if they are dry clean only, at least twice before washing. It makes them last longer.

2. If you had to choose any LARGE city to live in, which would it be?

Well, large takes on a different meaning when you live in a town so small you don't dare run to the grocery store without makeup on, because you know you will run into someone you know. BUT I have lived in both Greensboro and Charlotte, which I loved. And I love the energy in Atlanta, but I don't know if my nerves could handle the traffic. I also really like Denver and Nashville. Really, if they have a Target, a good craft/fabric store and a nice selection of restaurants, I am open!

3. Fly or drive with the kids Rev on vacation?

We usually drive, but I love to fly! I think the farthest we have driven was Ohio, and that was about as long as I can make it in a car. Once you fly and see how far you can go, in a small amount of time, you are hooked. But I am a little reluctant to fly again, given all of the new regulations--not really excited about a thorough pat down from a stranger...

4. What is your idea of "spring cleaning"?

Well, I am kind of a clean freak, so our house (except for the basement) never gets too dirty. But at the beginning of each year, I do try to slowly work my way through one room at a time and get rid of anything that we haven't used, straighten up drawers and closets, that kind of thing. I'm not a window washer, so that doesn't happen really ever. I've been told when we dump the last of our debt, I can get someone to come in once a month, so maybe I'll make them do windows and dust bunnies--our house is soooo dusty, trying to keep dust bunnies at bay is a full time job!

5. What is the best book you have ever read?

I read a lot, so I have many favorites, but if I can pick, I love a good mystery and anything by Nicholas Sparks.

We're Goin'...

1. Would you rather be on ABC's Extreme Home MakeOver or TLC's What not to Wear?

Well, I don't really have a sad enough story to make it onto Extreme Home Makeover and What Not to Wear would probably want to force me to wear actual colors, so can I just have the money that they spend instead?

2. Do you have any tattoos?

Yes, 1 small one on my ankle. Biggest.Regret.EVER.

3. Do you tell your kids about things you did growing up?

N/A--but if I had to guess, I would say we probably will because the Rev and I have a bad habit of forcing the other to listen to the same stories over and over.

4. If the traffic signal turns yellow, do you stop or speed up?

It depends on how far I am from the light and whether or not there are any po-po right around me. Lil' Miss Wilkes ALWAYS goes--she gets to the intersection, acts like she might be thinking of stopping, then guns it and says "We're goin!" Your life will flash right before your eyes...that is, if you can keep them open...

5. What's your preference: chocolate or chips?

Um, yes, please?

More Than Chopsticks

1. If you had $1,000 to donate to a charity, which would you choose?

It would be so hard to narrow it down to just one charity because there are so many great organizations out there helping people, but I'm gonna go with The Tim Tebow Foundation--I believe in what he is doing with his foundation, respect his firm, unashamed stand in his beliefs, I think he's genuine, and it doesn't hurt that he won me a Fantasy Football championship this year...

2. Snow days: Do you welcome them happily or are they a pain in your butt?

If you had asked me before this week, I would have said bring them on, but working in the school system and getting to experience my first weather dismissal during the school day and all of its craziness this past Wednesday, I am more on the pain side right now. If it is a snow day, I want a true snow day, at least knee deep in the stuff.

3. What talent did you wish you had and why?

I AM going to learn how to play more than just Chopsticks on the piano, hopefully this year. I have always wanted to play and I have a piano waiting for me so I just have to get it moved to our house and get cracking. I can play with one hand and read music, so surely that is half of the battle. I just told the Rev this week that I am going to teach myself, there is bound to be a set of DVD's or some YouTube videos out there that can help. Plus, I kind of like being married to the Rev and I think it is sort of like a requirement that the pastor's wife sing in the choir or play the piano, and the singing ain't happening, so.....

4. Are you a news, politics or celebrity gossip junkie?

A little of them all--I read the news online (sorry paper boy!), get stuck watching Fox News with the Rev and try to keep up with politics, and love to read People magazine for all of my pop culture/celebrity news.

5. What is your favorite "cocktail"? (Are you a beer person, a kiddie cocktail junkie, or perhaps your more the "Cosmo" kind?! Anything flies...doesn't hafta be alcoholic!)

I'm not a cocktail type gal, but I love me some Diet Cherry Pepsi!

Not a Morning Person

1. Where did you meet your spouse and did you instantly know it was love?

We met at church--he was the new youth pastor and I was a church member (no scandal though, we didn't date until he moved to another church). And yes, I knew right away, I told our pastor's wife who was standing next to me that he was the man I was going to marry. He only took 3 years to convince....

2. What is your favorite room in your house?

The bathroom. I love taking hot baths. And the biggest bonus, is that it was a remodeled, finished space when we bought the house, no big projects to do. And I don't know how we ever made it without double sinks!

3. Can you wiggle your ears?

Nope and I can't roll my tongue or do any crazy double jointed stuff either.

4. What is your evening ritual?

Come home from work, straighten up the house (usually just dust, vacuum, and then unload dishes or start a load of laundry), fix dinner, and clean up from that. Then it varies, maybe take a bath and read a magazine or work on a little project, or surf and watch TV. Then I usually pack my lunch, lay out clothes for the next day, and go to bed. I know, boring, right? I am truly a creature of habit.

5. How many hours of sleep do you need to function?

This is a deceptive question--I can function on as little as 4 hours, but it won't be pleasant for those around me. On average, I get about 6 1/2 - 7 hours. I do get up as soon as the alarm goes off for the most part, but the Rev's bad habit of hitting the snooze button occasionally rubs off on me.

I am more of a night owl than a morning person.

I Really Do Love Ya More Than My Luggage...

1. What movie could you watch over and over again and not get tired of?

We were just having this conversation with Team Jacie the other day. The Rev's list is much longer than mine, but I can never resist "Steel Magnolias" or "Remember the Titans." The former has given me many favorite one-liners, and the latter just makes you feel good.

2. What's your biggest pet peeve right now?

This varies from day to day and hour to hour, but since you said right now, I will go with rising costs and shrinking portions. Do companies really think that we don't notice that we are getting 1/3 less product (I have noticed this in everything from makeup to food) for 1/3 MORE money?

3. If you had to describe your best friend in five words or less, what would you say?

Well, you guys hear enough about the Rev, so I'll give you the low down on my other BFF, which I would have to say is the girly half of Team Jacie. She is just enough--just enough like me to give us lots in common, just enough different from me to balance me out.

4. If you did not have to worry about money or go to school what would you do for a living?

I would have to say own a dessert or craft shop.

5. What is your one "splurge" item, that you will always buy, no matter the cost?

The last part of this question, the whole cost thing, makes this one hard to answer. I would say magazines, but some of those big ones that cost like $9 or $10, I just can't make myself buy, not matter what they put on the cover.

Team Edward

1. What is your current favorite book, and why?

I was NOT going to get into the whole Twilight thing, but then we watched the first movie and were hooked. After the 2nd and 3rd movies, I was dying to know how it ended. Then my friend had to go and read the book and beg me to read it so that we could talk about it and I had no choice. So this past weekend on our trip to GA, I read the whole book--all 700 and some pages--it was worth it! Team Edward rules!

2. Do you go to the dentist regularly?

No--I would tell you how long it has been, but you might not be my friend after that...please don't judge...to my credit, I've only had 1 cavity in my life.

3. What is your worst memory from High School?

No bad memories really, but when I look back on pictures, I wonder what I was thinking...(and no, you can't see any...)

4. What do you hope to be remembered for in your life?

That I loved the Lord and was a faithful friend, wife, daughter, grand-daughter and on and on.

5. Are you superstitious or do you have any superstitions?

Not really, I'll walk under a ladder, cross a black cat, exit through a door I didn't come in, and wash clothes on New Year's Day (pick your jaw up, Mom!). I wish I was though because Captain Phil on Deadliest Catch called those kinds of things "bad ju-ju" and I just like saying that...

We Almost Ate at Hooters...

1. Do you re-gift...and if so, do you have a re-gifting horror story?

I know that Oprah says it is a no-no, but I have re-gifted in the past. I mean, we like chips and dip, but we got 3 chip and dip sets for our wedding. If you can't figure out where to return it, you may as well pass it on to someone who can use it. No horror stories, but I did once sell an item at a yard sale that still had a wedding card attached to it, oops..

P.S. - If you gave us a chip and dip set for our wedding, yours is totally the one that we kept...

2. Do you know what you are getting for Christmas this year?

Yep, pretty much. I loathe surprises...hopefully everyone has remembered this and stuck to the list.

3. Who brings the most gifts in your family, you or Santa?

No kids here, so no Santa...Mom still gets us a stocking though, full of toiletries for the coming year. The Rev and I both had a momentary panic last month, when we realized he had gone through his ration of shaving cream (I caught him using mine, that's how I knew) and I had no more razors. We had to break down and buy them for ourselves. Sad day, indeed...but we're still using the toothpaste and deodorant that we got in last year's stocking.

4. What store do you love to buy jeans from?

The only thing I loathe more than surprises are jeans. I can never find a pair that fits "right," so consequentially, I never wear them. Denim trousers are as close as you will see me come to jeans. I am convinced that they either don't make them for my body type, or if they do, they cost way more than I would ever spend on one pair of pants.

5. Christmas meal: Big, All Out Meal or Snacks and Apps?

Big Christmas morning breakfast/brunch, tons of snacking throughout the rest of the day. When we lived in the city, after my family would load up to go home, the Rev and I would try to grab something to eat before we got on the road to head to his parents house (3 hours away). One year, our only open choices were a Chinese Buffet and Hooters--I told him it would be the only time I would offer to let him eat at Hooters--the boy is no dummy and we burped Chinese for the rest of the night!

Oh, Fudge!

1. Do you open presents on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day?

Christmas Eve with part of our family and then Christmas Day with the rest of the family. We always tried to get Mom to let us open a present on Christmas Eve but she wasn't having it.

2. What is your favorite Christmas cookie (or candy)?

OK, I am cheating on this one with 2 answers--favorite candy is MeeMaw's fudge, it is sooo sweet it will make your toes curl, but it is sooo good. Favorite just get-to-eat-at-Christmas is MeeMaw's Chex Mix. She gives me the recipe but mine never comes out like hers. I was so excited at Thanksgiving when I was at her house and she already had some made.

3. What's the worst Christmas gift you've ever received?

I'd have to think on that one, plus I'd also have to think about who it would have come from and try to decide if they read this blog or not before I could share...but I did do alot of years in Child Care and I want to let you in on a little secret, your kid's teachers really don't want anymore crap with pictures of apples on it...

4. Christmas song that you love?

I can't believe I am admitting this, but I love Mariah Carey's "All I Want for Christmas is You"...its just so catchy!

5. How many trees do you put up?

If by "do you put up" you mean how many do you stress over, have a complete and total meltdown over, and end up having your BFF come over and decorate for you?--just 1 (she did a fabulous job by the way, pictures coming later today). I did put up the 2 small ones in the office and the spare room though, I should get credit for that, right?

I Could Have Been June Cleaver...

1. What's on the top of your holiday wish list and why?!

A new sewing machine--mine quit on me in the middle of a million projects and I need to sew!

2. What is your favorite Christmas gift from the past?

Anything that the Rev has given me...hey, he is buying the sewing machine so I've got to stay in good...

3. If you had life to do over, what would you be when you grow up?

A Home Economist--just bake and craft and decorate and can and sew and teach others how to do it. Like June Cleaver, only getting paid!

4. When do you put up your tree?

Oh, the tree...last year's tree and the length of time that it took to put it up and the number of times it fell over almost led to a holiday divorce for the Rev and I. This year, we went ahead and invested in a nice fake tree to keep the peace. I thought it would be easier to decorate, but I have finally realized that tree decorating is not for linear, symmetrical people. It is so hard! So, to answer the question, I start putting it up after Thanksgiving, but it is usually a 2 week process to get it finished. (In honor of this weekend's big SEC Championship game, I am showing you a pic of the Gamecocks tree that we put up in the Rev's office each Christmas--at least it is up! And, GO GAMECOCKS!!)

5. What is your favorite Holiday?

I like them all--they all have their own unique you-can-only-get-it-this-time-of-year candy...but Christmas is probably my favorite.

You Can Keep the Hippopotamus

1. What Christmas song do you loathe?

That song about the hippopotamus makes me nuts! The concept is annoying, the girl's voice is annoying, just everything about it is annoying (sorry, if this is your favorite!) (Edited to add: I can't believe how many of you have never heard of this song! Has it been sent to torture me alone? Google "I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas" and cringe with me!)

2. Do you and your significant other cuddle at night or sleep on opposite sides of the bed?

He is a cuddler, I am a get-right-down-to-business-and-get-to-sleeper... Unless it is cold and then I need the body heat!

3. Have you ever had surgery?

Nope, never, and it is a good thing, I don't like needles or pain...Oh, wait, do wisdom teeth count? I did have those cut out.

4. When do you typically have your holiday shopping done?

I try to get it all finished as soon after Thanksgiving as I can, this depends on how well family members do with providing a list. Now wrapping is another story...I loathe wrapping presents, but I don't wait until Christmas Eve like the Rev does...

5. If money were not an issue (and you HAD to pick something), what would your ultimate luxury item be?

I can only pick one? I want lots!--heated seats in the car, a jacuzzi in my bathroom, a maid/laundry girl, some filler for the horrible frown lines between my eyes (No, I am not angry, thank you very much for asking!), someone to wrap my Christmas gifts, tickets to the SEC Championship...I could go all day!

Weebles Wobble...and They Do Fall Down...

1. What is the most physically painful thing that has ever happened to you?

My stars, if you all knew who you were asking this question of, you would know that I have far too many accidents from which to choose! I have been known to be pretty clumsy, and I like to be clumsy in public, so the pain is usually just to my pride. But once in Denver, on a business trip, in front of pretty much the whole office (I told you I was a public person!), I fell on a crack in the sidewalk and ended up with a massive knot on my knee--it hurt soooo bad. The Rev jokes that we need one of those OSHA boards that says how many days I have been accident free...My last "episode," as he likes to call them, was probably back in August when I slid on my socks in the hallway and cracked my skull on the bathroom door frame, so I guess I am about 80 or so days episode free...This is turning into a long answer, but the Rev also thinks that I look like a Weeble when I fall, because I just put my arms by my side and go with it, no need to break an arm trying to catch myself, just go with it and pick yourself up when it is over.

2. How much sleep do you get at night?

I try to get at least 7 hours, but that rarely happens. It is usually more like 6. I try to make up for it on Saturdays by sleeping in.

3. How long did you believe in Santa Claus? How did you find out that he does not exist?

I don't remember when I stopped believing, but I definitely remember when someone spilled the beans to my brother. He was probably about 6 and he came home from school, hid behind a chair in the living room and cried for hours.

4. What was the last movie you saw in a theater?

The Town with Ben Affleck--it was pretty good. And in a rare moment, the Rev and I actually went to see it together. As I have told you before, it is not uncommon for us to go to the movies and see separate movies--he gets his way, I get mine, we all live happily ever after. Its a thing of beauty...

5. What do you wear to bed?

I usually wear a T-shirt and some sort of pants throughout the evening and lose the pants at bedtime. It won't be pretty if the house ever catches on fire in the middle of the night, but it sure is comfortable! And I never, ever, no matter how cold, wear socks to bed, my feet need to be free or I can't sleep.

My Dog Is Not a Pansy

1. If you could have any talent and turn it into an occupation, what would it be?

If I could get paid to bake and craft all day long, I so would. I don't even have to eat what I bake, I just enjoy the process.

2. Would you rather have a house at the beach or a cabin in the woods?

Well, if I have to pick between these 2, I'd probably go with a house at the beach--but I want it to have a pool because I like the beach atmosphere, but not the actual sand and dirty water.

3. Is there any meaning or reasoning for the names you chose for your child/children?

Well, our dog is our child and we chose Scarlett because Gone with the Wind is my favorite movie. We have a 2nd GWTW name picked out for our next dog, which the Rev is so ready to get! On a side note, I am so glad that Margaret Mitchell did not go with her original name choice for Scarlett's character, which was Pansy--I could not have done that to my dog...

4. What is your guilty pleasure? (I know we've done this one before, but I'm guessing people's "guilty pleasures" change frequently. At least, mine do!)

Accessories--I cannot resist a good piece of costume jewelry, a cute bag, a pretty scarf...but I usually buy cheap so that I can have more of them!

5. Do you live in a house that is deep cleaned or straightened?

A little of both--a few super-mega cleans a year, with daily straightening and weekly cleaning in between. I love cleaning!

I {Heart} Black Friday!

1. If you could be a fly on any wall, which would you choose?

I can't really think of any walls that I would want to hang around. Besides flies are gross and annoying....

2. Do you budget your Christmas shopping or just get it done without budgeting?

Oh, we budget (Hi, Dave Ramsey!), setting limits on what we spend on whom, creating a list, and searching out the best deals. What a rush! Black Friday is glorious and the Rev makes an excellent chauffeur! He gets up so early and just takes me wherever I need to go so that I can use all of my Early Bird coupons (even the craft store--he naps in the car) and I don't even complain when we stand in line at Big Lots to get a grown man a Guitar Hero...

3. What is the craziest fad diet you have ever done?

None too crazy, but I did have a pretty good run with Slimfast and Stacker2, before they made ephedrine illegal...and for the record, there is nothing "sensible" about dinner when you have been drinking glorified chocolate milk all day...

4. Is there a TV show that you have seen every episode/season of?

One Tree Hill and Dawson's Creek, and I might have stormed the offices if Joey and Pacey had not ended up together. Dawson was a weenie...

5. What one song always pulls at your heart?

OK, you will think that I am so weird, but there are two that choke me up every time I hear them--Silent Night (can never even sing more than the first few words) and oddly and I do not know why--Happy Birthday. I told you it was weird!

Strawberry Shortcake's Sidekick

1. Who is the better cook, you or your spouse?

Well, I have posted tons of recipes for you here and he once made a dish called Meatloaf Surprise---the surprise would be if you could go to the bathroom for a week after since the meatloaf was stuffed with a whole log of Velveeta cheese--I'll let you decide...

2. How often do you talk to your mom?

Usually once a week by phone and maybe another 1-3 times by email (yes, email is talking!). On another note, because the other "kids" in the family would be disappointed if I didn't mention this, my Mom always leaves a phone message in the exact same manner--"Hey...it's just me. I don't really need anything..." But at least we have finally gotten the concept of voice mail vs. machine down and she doesn't call our name and wait for us to pick up anymore.

3. Are you adventurous in the kitchen or stick to the recipe?

I don't know if I would say that I am adventurous, but I do modify alot to suit our tastes.

4. Is your second toe longer than your big toe?

No, is yours? And should it be?

5. Do you dress up for Halloween? (Bonus question: What will you be this year?)

I don't dress up for Halloween. We are usually involved in church fall themed activities versus Halloween activities, so costumes aren't really needed. But one of my favorite pictures (see above) is when my brother dressed up as C3PO and I dressed up as the-less-important-sidekick-of Strawberry Shortcake-named Apricot-something-or-other. Anybody else remember how bad those little plastic masks made you sweat? Also, thanks Mom, for the Dorothy Hamill haircut...

The Odd Couple

1. What is your favorite Halloween candy?

This is soooo hard, I have too many favorites to pick just one--I like Milk Duds and Junior Mints, but you get like 3 in those mini boxes and that isn't even worth the effort, flavored Tootsie Rolls, mini Twizzlers, and the best--a Reese's Pumpkin! And you didn't ask, but if I were trick-or-treating and you gave me those orange and black wrapped Peanut Butter Kisses or any of the candy corn type candy, I would be pretty ticked..

2. Do you fold your socks?

I stuff one sock in the other and kind of tuck, not really fold, unless it is like a dress sock or a trouser sock, then I fold it.

3. What is something that you wish you had been warned about?

I was 30 before my Mary Kay lady told me that you are supposed to rub lotion and makeup in towards your nose, not out toward your ears. The latter stretches your skin more...I don't really have a double chin, I think that is just the skin that I stretched before I received this little nugget of information...

4. What is the most significant difference between you and your significant other?

I am Felix (the neat freak), he is Oscar (the messy one). Also, I am a planner, he is a fly-by-the-seat-of-your pantser. I Hover...

1. If you could speak with a different accent, what would it be (i.e Australian,Scottish)?

The Rev and I were just discussing this the other day and I think I would go with Cajun. I just like the way they sound. But I don't want to be like the men on Swamp People, I just want the accent.

2. Can you fall asleep anywhere? (i.e floor, couch, deck)

No way! Has to be in a bed and with covers, no matter how hot it is, I can't sleep without covers. And I have to have at least 2 hours to sleep or I don't even bother.

3. Do you use public restrooms? If so, do you sit on the toilet?

Depends...like in a gas station, never--if that is the only option, you would be surprised how long I could hold it. But I will go in a nice restaurant or a nice rest area. And I have to hover...never sit on the actual seat.

4. If you were stuck in an elevator for 24 hours, what celebrity would you most want to be stuck with?

Bill Gates...with a Scrabble board. I'd play him as many rounds of Scrabble as we can get in, each worth $1,000,000 and I'd take all of his money. He'd cry like a baby...

5. Where did you & your significant other go on your 1st date?

We started out as friends, so it is hard to really pinpoint an actual first date, but it was probably to eat Mexican food!

1. What is the first nightmare you remember?

I don't know about the first, but I could not sleep for a while after watching Psycho.

2. Even if you're not a sports fan, what's your favorite sport to play/watch?

FOOTBALL!! Fantasy football, South Carolina Gamecocks football, SEC football, Tim Tebow football, you get the idea...

3. If you could pull off one piece of trendy fashion, what would you want it to be (jeggings, hats, thigh high boots, etc.)?

Hmmm, this is a tough one, but I am going to go with hats, not sure why, but I think they are cute, just not on me.

4. Did you make good grades in school?

For the most part, yes, but I did have to work at it.

5. What magazines do you subscribe to?

So many, it is embarassing--BHG, Southern Living, Rachel Ray (free subscription), Martha Stewart Living (another freebie), Redbook, Woman's Day, Family Circle....
