2011 Review Extravaganza - Q1

I'm linking up with a ton of wonderful gals, including my girl, Impulsive, who want to know what we have been up to this year. This week, we're recapping January, February, and March.

In January, I shared a list of Home Goals for the year (that are still waiting to be completed) and a recap of the Rev and I's trip to the Chick-fil-A Bowl in Atlanta.

In February, I showed you what a letter from me might look like, how to patch up your hubby's ridiculously-shabby-but-we couldn't-live-without-it shirt, and shared a cheap storage solution for one of my favorite accessories, the scarf.

In March, we made earrings out of candy, brought you The Best Baked Penne and the Rev issued a public service announcement about how not to use this.

What about you? What were you up to earlier this year? Link up with the ladies and tell us!

I clicked on your link to find out how to make the Best Bakes Penne...And I'm so upset because I don't think we have this "Philadelphia Cooking Creme" stuff in Canada! We have the cream cheese and the dips and spreads, but no cooking creme!! Boooo!!!! (But I'm wondering if I melted the herb & garlic spreadable cream cheese, if that might work?!)
I'm loving reading these recaps! So fun!!

I had to look at your scarf storage idea. I'm starting to get into these and my way isn't working. Will have to hit the dollar store now.

Woah...those candy earrings are super original!!! Love it!!!

The scarf hanger is a great idea, too. I just don't own any scarves. I can't handle having anything touch my neck. I'm a weirdo. :o)

Thanks so much for linking up, great recap! And I have your first point recorded.

Oh sadly my husband has more than one of those ratty shirts. What is that all about anyway??? LOL.

What a fun post! I think your Penne recipe looks delicious and simple enough for me! And I LOVE the candy earrings. I've never seen any like that before!

yup, I'd eat those candy earrings. Those would be dangerous. And I'm not gonna lie, I probably would have tasted that spray too. :-) So thanks to your hubby for saving me the trouble!

those candy earings are singing to my SOUL!!! i love anything with penne pasta. in fact, when i go to olive garden i always ask them to use penne in my fettuchini alfredo instead of fettuchini. heaven when the sauce all gushes out from the inside of the penne. there's nothing i love more though than an organized something. i may need to clean out the end of the bed seat and hang the scarves. maybe then i'll wear them...
