Festive Frenzy

Our annual Christmas Open House, a time of food and fellowship which serves as our gift to our church family, is this Sunday. We are in a festive frenzy up in here (points if "up in here" made you bust out singing a little DMX...).

Between now and Sunday, this is what my To Do list looks like...
And somewhere in there, I have to do all of my usual weekend stuff, like meal planning/shopping for next week and laundry. I'm tired just thinking about it!

Do you host any parties for the holidays?

Why yes, I did bust out in song in my head. "Ya'll gonna make me lose my mind, up in here, up in here..." Lol. And I'm even busting out in a few shoulder dance moves at my desk at work. :)

I had my annual cookie party last weekend so I'm feeling ya. So glad it's over. My to do list was constantly running through my head! Now I feel like I can relax and actually enjoy the holidays.

Dude. I so hear you. Last year, I hosted a gathering for our church congregation after our White Gift service (I live beside the church, as I rent the Manse) - and it was crazy getting ready for it, trying to clean and prepare the food! This year I opted not to host that, but I do have a group of friends coming on Saturday for a potluck and gift exchange. So you and I will both be scrambling to prepare this weekend - good luck to you! I'm sure it will be a success! :)

You lost me at dip 150 cake balls. Wow! I could probably eat 150 cake balls.... :o) Did you get it all done? Or is the party this coming Sunday? Good luck to you! I really can't imagine! I have never hosted a holiday party before. Just having friends over for a regular dinner stresses me out. I normally let everyone else take over the big party planning!
