So, I told you here all about the Books 'n' Bloggers Swap that I signed up to participate in. The rules were that I'd send out 1 book that I love, 1 book that I haven't read, and 1 book that my partner wanted and in return, I would receive the same. My partner, Beth had a great wish list going at Amazon, so picking out a book that I knew she wanted was a breeze and I already had the other 2 books that I was going to send her in mind (you can visit Beth here to see what I sent her).
Book #1 is Rosemary and Rue, a murder mystery with a Faerie twist and Book #2 is The Bone Garden, a medical thriller by Tess Gerritsen. Both will make great beach reads!
I don't have an Amazon Wish List (yet!), but I mentioned to Beth that I was really hoping to build a library of great books for the baby, since I love to read and really want to encourage that in her. Book #3, The Velveteen Rabbit, is one of my all time favorite children's books, which Beth did not know, and I'm so excited to have received it. I have 3 must-have books for the baby, Charlotte's Web, The Giving Tree, and this one. Of course, Beth's choice of this book was made all the sweeter by the fact that she sent her very own childhood copy of the book for the baby.
Big thanks to Beth and to Angie for hosting this great swap!
P.S. You are my sister from another mister if the post title inspired you to sing a little Sir Mix-A-Lot...
