Holidays mean leftovers...
Tip #145
Work smarter, not harder, when it comes to food storage containers and save a little time....as well as your food.
Get square containers, which take up less storage space than round, and buy only two sizes, so you don't have to choose from a mess of similarly sized lids. Whomever opens the kitchen cabinet and avoids an avalanche of plastic lids will thank you.

awesome tip
I"m in the market for new containers. I like the squared!
Nice tip!
I got stackable ones from Rubbermaid last year. I love them. They all stack together and the lids stick together and fit under the containers. They rock.
We love these containers!
My container cupboard is a mess. A landslide of a million different sizes and lids. I need to invest in some good, glass, square dishes like you recommended!!!
My hub hates those things all together! He'd rather put saranwrap on it, not realizing that it doesn't stack well! Geez!
I just bought new square ones last year. I LOVE them! Now if I could only throw out my old ROUND ones. I'm not good about throwing out things that aren't damaged.
Thanks for linking up! I've been missing my bloggy friends. I'm going CRAZY up in Oklahoma!
I threw away all myold circle ones last year and bought new square ones - my cabinet has never looked tis organized!!!
