We Want To Know Wednesday!

Photobucket

So, these fun gals ( Impulsive Addict , Janette , Mamarazzi , and Shawn ) are dying to know how I will answer these questions...

{1.} If the blogging world had a talent show, what would your act be?

I do not get up in front of large groups of people and do anything, period. This is ABSOLUTELY non-negotiable. My nerves will cause either hysterical giggles or full-on weeping. Sorry, kids, can I just run the concession stand? Every good talent show needs a concession stand....and I can bake like nobody's business....

{2.} What's the most likely reason you might become famous?

I can't handle fame, I do not like to be in the spotlight, please see the answer to question #1....

{3.} What question are you repeatedly asked that you are tired of hearing?

When are you going to have kids? Yes--we are getting old, yes--we know how you get them, yes--we are trying, and no--it is none of your business how often. That about covers it.

{4.} What's the last thing you broke?

Well, my wallet is always broke, but I doubt that is what you are asking. I honestly can't think of anything that I have broken recently. And if I could, unless I had already 'fessed up to the Rev so that he could fix it, I probably couldn't tell you.

{5.} Finish this sentence. I can't believe I used to ________.

Spray massive amounts of cheap hair spray (think Rave or White Rain) on my "wings" and blow dry them until they were crunchy. Don't judge, you gals who grew up in the 80's know you did it, too....

Hahaha...I'm picturing my sister in the room we shared as kids, spraying her hair like crazy. (I'm a child of the 80's, but my sister was 7 years older than me, and she reached the "beautifying" stage before I did!)

LOL.....run the concession stand! I agree, I want to do that with you!

Haha YES I sprayed my hair rock hard too.
Love this....I'm gonna link up too!

Oh yes you are so right! There must be a place to get tasty adult beverages!

I remember picking up one piece of hair an the rest coming with it. Yeah, I abused hair spray too.
I remember the sizzle of the curling iron after spraying it then curling.

Rave! Oh my, I swear I had stock in Rave. It was the best for holding out my wings. :)

Isn't it great that EVERYONE is overly concerned with your reproductive intentions when you hit a certain age? I wasn't even married in my late 20s and my one aunt was *obsessed* with me having kids...I haven't even been married a year and I avoid certain people like the plague so I don't have to deal with the "when are you having a baby?" conversation.

Cheap hair spray was the way to go... especially with how much we used in the day to look so fly! :)

Glad you linked up with us again girly!! I wish I baked like you-- I'd help with the concession stand.. and eat it all.

Perhaps you could showcase your talent for being able to use cheap hairspray to style awesome 80's hair?!

Funny....my wallet is always broke too. Doesn't seem like there's much out there to help that, lol

Stage fright? Say whaaaat? Ok, concession stand it is. Or maybe a judge?

OMG. Ok, when I become famous, I WON'T take you with me.

Totally hear you on #3. Seriously.

Ew. Those hair sprays STINK!

Thanks for playing with me this week. You love me the bestest. =)

I have no stage fright but I will not sing in front of anyone..not even my family. That's just cruel and unusual punishment that no one should have to endure!

Bring on the spot light. No, I don't think I would enjoy living in a fish bowl with my every move and mistake being publicized!

I've already covered this comment on JK's blog. I have been guilty of asking that very personal and sometimes painful question. Bottom line, it's none of my damn business!

Amen Sistah! I had some rockin' 80's hair back in the day. I actually think it could have been considered a deadly weapon if used the right, or wrong, way!
