Remember here when I told you that for one time only I let some Tarheels stuff into our house? And I swore it would never happen again? Well, I lied...1/2 of Team Jacie celebrated a milestone birthday this past weekend and I got to make the cake. His Mrs. wanted a Tarheels themed cake and wanted the number "30" worked in there for some shock value. I went with a basketball jersey cake, complete with his last name and his new number, 30. It wasn't perfect--cake decorating is nerve wracking--but it sure did taste good, and the birthday boy was happy! So, I guess it was worth it.
