#OkayToCry

What do you do for your spouse/significant other for Valentine's Day? We are kind of practical around here - I hate for him to spend money on flowers that will die and you just reach a point where there is nothing you really need, so its usually just candy and a card. We'll try to go to dinner, though hardly ever on the actual day because it is so crowded.

Remember here when I told you that I wanted to be a little more intentional about making time for us this year? I wanted to do a little something extra for the Rev this year, and Cardstore helped me out! I used their cute, FREE printable love notes, a 7 day pill box (perfect since I've been telling him he needs one of those for his millions of vitamins and supplements!), and some little treats that I know he likes, to create a little surprise for each day of the week. Some days were candy, others gifts of time, nothing too major, just a little way to say I Love You each day. I loved incorporating the little notes into each one.

The love notes were perfect since they had a starter and you just had to fill in the blanks. You still have time to print them out and find a creative way to use them - maybe a mirror full, or one in each page of the book he's reading, hide them and leave clues so that he will find them, use your imagination! Who doesn't love a funny or sappy note? If you decide to participate, share what you do on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram using the hashtag #okaytocry.
