Punkin' Pickin' 2013

We are starting to make some of our own family traditions with Elise. This year, we decided to make a visit to the Pumpkin Patch an annual tradition. We loaded up and drove just a short way to a local Pumpkin Patch/Corn Maze/Christmas Tree Farm to spend a Saturday morning.

Elise was right down on the ground just crawling through the patch helping us pick pumpkins. After a family photo, we took a train ride up through the tree farm, we were almost at peak leaf changing season here in the mountains for our trip, lots of golds, oranges, and reds just peeking through. It was fun and we can't wait to watch her run through the patch next year!

And ya'll know that I did not bring those pumpkins home and leave them plain....because super families need super pumpkins!

That looks like fun!

Great decorating. I don't like to carve....I like to paint them too.

I love the family picture, especially how Elise has her arm up on you. :O) Too sweet!

Painting pumpkins - now there's an idea! We haven't bought one yet - cutting it a little close, I know. Hoping to get around to it tomorrow!
