Elise - 7 Months

Dear Elise,

7 months old and learning and growing every day! Here is what you are up to:

•You weighed 14lbs. 11oz. and were 26 inches long at your 6 month checkup. Sometimes it seems like you get bigger overnight!

•You are still a good eater, though you have been trying to refuse the bottle in an effort to get to the good stuff! You've added zucchini, cauliflower, beets, cantaloupe, blueberries, prunes, and chicken and rice to your menu. We're working on using a sippy cup, but you are underwhelmed...

•You were sleeping through the night, but have started to wake around 2AM....

•You usually sleep on your side or on your tummy now. This pic of you just waking up in your little sleep sack is one of my favorites from this month.

•You wear size 2 diapers.

•You are wearing mostly size 6 months clothing. And it needs to warm up because you are out of cold weather clothes that fit!

•You stayed with your first real babysitter this month. Her name is Katie and she is wonderful! She texted us pictures and updates all evening long.

•No teeth yet, but I feel like any day now.

•You sit on your own very well now.

•You are a little social butterfly, who knows no strangers. It makes me so proud when everyone comments on what a happy baby you are.

•You love to hang out in your Jenny Jump Up, especially when Daddy plays fun music for you to jump along with!

•Your current favorite toy? An empty water bottle, go figure.

•You have suddenly decided that you don't like being buckled up in the carseat and you pitch a fit when we have to dress you, especially at bedtime.

•You love to sit in a big girl high chair in a restaurant, you act so proud of yourself!

We love everything about you!

Love love that picture of her at the dr's! Hopefully she gets back to sleeping through the night again soon; they definitely go through phases.
How awesome that your babysitter texted you picture and updates!
