Tip #215
This handy chart (click image to enlarge)from Taste of Home shows us how to use ice cube trays to save little leftover morsels that can be used to create something else yummy!
I am always tossing little bits that don't seem like they can be used, but this makes perfect sense. I know that you coffee junkies will definitely be putting #12 to use for delicious iced coffees this summer!
Do you have any others that might be missing from the list?

I save Strawberries now....for the most amazing Strawberry Consomme. Which I need to blog about.
The PTA is killing my blog mojo!
That's such a great tip!
Such a great idea! I hadn't thought of freezing the other stuff on that list - usually if I only need half an onion I'll chop up the other half and freeze it in double Ziploc bags for future use. :)

That is brilliant. I never would have though of using an ice cube tray to store food. Have a great day.

I've done this with coffee before so I can make iced coffee without watering it down too much! It's a great idea!
I'm actually stopping by to wish you a very Happy Birthday!!! Hope your day is great! :)
Oooh definitely gotta print that off! I actually found 2 ice cube trays when I cleaned out my cupboards last weekend! Perfect!!
I'm all about the wine choice! I make Drew's baby food and I actually HAVE ice cube trays. Not many people have them. And they're getting harder to find at Walmart.
Very handy dandy chart! But it's your blog so I expect nothing less! And I'm assuming you make your own baby food too.
i knew about left over coffee and juice i didn't know about the food though pretty cool
Very cool! I wonder how I can incorporate hot dogs, chicken nuggets and french fries into something worth making later? hah. I kid.. you do have some pretty handy ideas!
No way- never would have thought to do that... though even the leftovers that there are enough I often save to then only throw away a week later; need to get better about that.
