Friday Free For All

Are there some Fridays that you just look forward to more than others? Maybe you have big weekend plans, or its a special occasion, maybe you have planned to go shopping with the girls, or you just want extra time with your kids?

I think that I have been waiting for this Friday since Christmas passed...its the last day of school before Spring Break. Something inexplicable happens to kids after Christmas break, its like they realize they have made it over the hump of the school year and they just go bat crazy. Working in the school office has felt like living in some weird, full moon everyday sort of world since then. Add in some scheduling deadlines and the looming conversion of my entire data system and it has just been a rough patch. Plainly put, I need this break....BAD....I have no real exciting plans, just around the house stuff, with a trip to help my Mom do some work at MeeMaw's house late in the week, but I am so excited to get away from the stress of the office and just enjoy some extra time with Elise and the Rev.

This morning, I know that I will go into work and it will be a wild free for all, but its OK, 3:05 and that final bell are just around the corner!

Speaking of-- Friday Free For All used to be a segment on a local radio station where you could call in and request any song and they would play it. If I could have called in today (no judging!), I would have gone for Eddie Murphy's "Party All The Time," it always makes me smile! What is your request on this Friday?

Have a great weekend!

Hope you enjoy your spring break! I think yours must be one of the last spring breaks there is.
When do you get out of school?
