Tipsy Tuesday (#208)

Just in case you are planning to spring clean...

Tip #208

Make sure you are using the most effective cleaners.

If stored in a cool, dark place, most liquid cleaning products can last up to two years unless otherwise indicated by an expiration date. Write the date of purchase on the bottle with a permanent marker to help you remember. Products with an expired date won't be harmful, but they will have lost their anti-bacterial properties. Toss any cleaner that is past its prime.

**Alright now, I'm talking tips, head over to see what Impulsive and Shawn are talking about on Talk to us Tuesday!**

I deep clean my entire house every Monday. I don't think I have a cleaning product that has been in my house for longer than 4 weeks, two years sounds like a product I didn't like-but I would have tossed it not kept it. I need to know the shelf life on things like baking soda or how long after the "best by" date can I eat yogurt.

THanks for linking up with us!

wait, cleaners have an expiration date? I honestly had no idea! I have become a huge fan of the Pledge product that cleans any surface-- not just wood--

Of COURSE cleaners have expiration dates and I didn't know about it... You'd think I'd have learned my lesson after finding out sunscreen has one, too. ;)

YAY! That's exactly what I do but I wasn't doing it on purpose, it's just how I happen to do things. Thanks love!

Clean? Me? No thanks. I'd rather pay someone else to do it. I just want to be the mom. Well, on most days, I do clean...but I don't like it. I bet I have some cleaning products that need to be tossed. I'll let you know! ;-)

I'm a compulsive cleaner. I have windex and cleaning wipes stashed all over the house and I replace them monthly. :)
