I love to craft and sewing is my latest hobby, which is lucky since skirts are hard to find for babies. I made this one, using this tutorial, from an old women's T-shirt. The headband also came from that shirt. The onesie needed some pizazz so I painted on a "necklace" and added a bow (it's never to early to accessorize!). And because the only thing harder to find than a baby skirt is baby leggings or tights that actually fit, I made the baby legs from a pair of $1 section women's knee socks. The bonus in baby legs is that they keep little legs warm, but since they just run hip joint to ankle, you don't have to worry about getting through another layer for diaper changes.

Such a little doll... And so lucky to have a mama that can create her very own clothing line! That's one stylin' kid!!
I love that onesie! What a great idea!
You are so resourceful! I'm so challenged when it comes to thinking up new ways to use something. Great idea though about the socks and using the t-shirt to make a skirt!
I've been buying clothes for my neice (who is about to turn 1 in 2 weeks) and it AMAZES me how expensive they are! It's like 1/4 the amount of cloth but 3xs the price of a shirt for me!
Okay not only is that super super cute but you made it all!! you should sell those onsies- that is so so cute!!
I would never have guess she was wearing all DIY's! So adorable. I love her little face and fuzzy head! Thanks for linking up!
