Janette gave me a great reminder that writing all of these things here will be a great journal to look back on and share with the kiddo when she is older, so here goes!
How far along?: 24 weeks and 5 days! Only about 15 more weeks to go!
Weight gain/loss: Lost 17lbs. in the first trimester, gained .5lbs. in the 2nd, so still a loss of 16.5lbs.
Maternity clothes?: Nope, don't need them yet.
Stretch marks?: Still no new ones.
Sleep?: Barely, I have the worst case of insomnia I have ever had.
Best moment this week?: After many swatches and samples, I have finally settled on fabric for the nursery, so I can get started sewing soon!
Food cravings: A fear realized... I have finally craved something that would normally make me puke just to smell...bananas (am I the only one who sings that Gwen Stefani song to make sure that I have the right number of n's and a's in bananas?). Banana/peanut butter wraps for breakfast were my favorite last week.
Gender: 95% sure it is a girl (she was a little shy!)--having a just-to-be-sure ultrasound at 28 weeks, but we already call her by her name...and no, we aren't telling what it is, sorry Mom... and as a side note to the bestie, you know I love my Mater, but I can't believe that you would use a 2 year old to try to get the name out of me, shame, shame!
Belly button in or out?: Still in...and I hope it stays that way.
Movement?: Yep, and she is a night owl, starts up every evening at about 9 and goes pretty much non-stop until 11 or 12. She also makes her presence known if my bladder gets full and encroaches on her space...
What I miss?: Nothing, really.
What I’m looking forward to: Finishing the nursery plans and making them come alive!

It is really fun to reread these now that my daughter is here. I am sorry about the insomnia. It is the pits. I started eating tomatoes during my pregnancy and have continued! Weird. I also had way worse cravings while I was nursing than pregnant!
This is a great idea! I'll steal it if that's ok.
No maternity? Down 16.5 pounds? I hate you a little bit.
love this wish i had been blogging and thought to do this with little man
Ah, I love reading these pregnancy updates! So glad to hear all is going well with yours so far...She'll be here before you know it! :)
It's going by quickly isn't it? I can't believe you lost 17 pounds in your first trimester! You're probably the only one to ever actually lose weight while pregnant!
HOld up-- where are the swatch colors and ideas so we can see?? I can wait for the name although it keeps me from doing any personalized gift ideas but colors would be nice-- and the name-- but the colors would suffice. So exciting!!
