Halfway There!

Just a fun little Q&A to update you on the progress of the bun!

How far along?: 20 weeks tomorrow! We are halfway there! ( You know you are a child of the 80's and 90's when typing "halfway there" makes you start singing the chorus to a Bon Jovi song in your head!)

Weight gain/loss: Lost 17lbs.; no gain yet.

Maternity clothes?: Nope, don't need them yet.

Stretch marks?: No new ones, just the ones I already had from being heifer-sized!

Sleep?: Not that great, bathroom visit every night at 3:00, like clockwork...

Best moment this week?: Went to a baby shower and didn't bust into tears after, fearing we would never have one of our own. It still seems surreal.

Food cravings: Nesquik Fat Free chocolate milk (pre-made...don't even think about giving me the powdered stuff) and hard sharp cheese...but not together!

Gender: We find out in 4 days! I can't wait to buy something for him or her.

Belly button in or out?: Still in...and I hope it stays that way.

Movement?: Not yet.

What I miss?: If we are being totally honest? The ability to poop...why is it that you always hear pregnant women giggle about how much they have to pee, but none of them bothers to tell you that you won't be able to poop?

What I’m looking forward to: All of it!

Seriously! Chocolate Milk is a great way to get that calcium!! You are a good girl with the fat free. I justified the calcium with full fat ice cream!!
4 days until the big day! woowoo!! it is such a cool moment!

Woooahhhh...living on a prayer...take my hand and we'll make it I swear...

Yep, child of the 80's/90's. :o)

I think that's really sweet that this was the first baby shower you've attended since you starting baking one of your own. :o) I'm so glad you're so happy!

I'm so excited for you to find out what you're having!

I remember everything about my first pregnancy like it was yesterday!

Eeee so excited for you! My brother and his wife aren't finding out the sex of their baby, AND their withholding their name choices, so I can't WAIT for that babe to get here! I'm sure you can understand the anticipation ;)

so excited for you makes me want another one even though I know it's not possible and the pooping thing i never had issues with that nor the peeing part but then again i'm weird and I did not experience half of what most pregnant woman did

these are the best memories when you write them down to recall how you were feeling the whole time. I love it! I can't recall pooping as a problem but I'm sure there were so many other things going on that I forgot-- you might notice 'mommy brain' and I am glad I took notes while I was pregnant bc it does happen so fast and you forget.
