Tipsy Tuesday (#162)

Just in case you have an overabundance of chocolate bunnies and chicks left from the Easter fun...

Tip #162

Chop up chocolate bunnies and chicks that won’t get eaten and freeze the pieces.

Defrost and use like chocolate chips in cookies and other goodies...or just scarf them down right from the freezer when that chocolate craving hits and there is none in the house!

**Alright now, I'm talking tips, head over to see what Impulsive and Shawn are talking about on Talk to us Tuesday!**

Ugh. I'm seriously going to have to do this...I ate so much other crap this weekend, that I somehow didn't get all of the Easter eggs I wanted to eat...and now I'm on this stupid diet for at least a month...I'm going to store them away in the freezer and wait for it to be over! haha!

What a great idea - not that chocolate lasts very long in our house, what with the hubby being a chocoholic. But Princess Nagger takes after me and doesn't inhale it - in fact, she takes so long to finish a chocolate bunny either the hubby ends up finishing it off (much to her dismay) or it gets tossed. I think I'll have to stash some chocolate in the freezer for those times when the hubby is lamenting no chocolate in the house and surprise him with the frozen treat. ;)

Emma Kate didn't receive one chocolate bunny and I couldn't be happier! I've never cared for them and they taste nasty! So, for once, this is a tip that I DIDN'T NEED! YAY FOR US!

Sooo...are you feeling better? I know you were sick.

We removed 99% of the candy from the baskets several years back, actually almost 10. The girls get things they need and want like bathing suites and iTunes cards and 1 package of their favorite candy. No ones needs another excuse to eat junk in our house!

Thanks for the giggle and for linking up!

All we have left are jelly beans. And I don't really care for them!

I love frozen chocolate!! I did in fact have left overs and put them directly into the fridge! I like to snack on them secretly but I could totally use this tip b/c I usually throw things like that away b/c I worry it won't last-- you've always got the best tips!!
