DCB Recipe #14: No-Fuss Sweet Potatoes

I made these for Easter dinner yesterday and am planning to eat them mashed up today!

No-Fuss Sweet Potatoes

2 lg. sweet potatoes, peeled, cut into small chunks
1 apple – peeled and cored, cut into small chunks
1 tbsp. Cinnamon Plus Spice Blend (I substituted apple pie spice, which is very similar)
¼ c. brown sugar
¼ c. butter, melted

Place cut sweet potatoes and apples in Deep Covered Baker and then top with melted butter.

Sprinkle with Cinnamon Plus and brown sugar. Cook for 12‐15 minutes in the microwave and check for doneness.

I adore Sweet Potatoes!

I wish I'd made some because my Mac and Cheese didn't turn out. :(

I was suppose to cook for Easter but ran low on time- I wish I could blog about it but anywhoo-- yum! Looks good!! Next year I hope to plan my time better!
