Silent Night

I really need a silent night to just sit, without any To Do lists running through my head, no oven timers going off, no presents waiting to be wrapped, without thinking of all that I have to squeeze in and just enjoy the season. I'm thinking about turning out all of the lights except for the tree and my new Glass Block Nativity and just chilling for a bit.....

How about you? Stressed or just enjoying the season?

That sounds really nice...You should definitely do it! It will help you appreciate the reason for all the hustle & bustle this time of year.

I'm starting to stress a little, but only because I've invited my church congregation to my place after the service & pageant on Sunday for refreshments. I live next door, in the "manse" (our current minister has her own home, so they rent the Manse to me) - and I thought it would be a nice thing to do for everyone, and a fun way to cap off the pageant. But now it's just a few days away, and I have to find time to clean my house, prepare the food, and I still have lots of wrapping to do. And I have a hair appt. and a pot luck on Saturday. Yeah. Things are getting a little stressful! lol

I'm trying to relax but it's difficult with a little pup running around pooping and peeing everywhere. Wine is helping!
