I have been making this mistake for years...
Did you know that storing potatoes and onions together will cause your potatoes to spoil faster? The onions give off gases that speed the spoiling process.

No way didn't know that. I usually keep the potatoes in my pantry and onions in fridge. But very cool to know :)
I knew this one!! No, really I did!! I don't remember HOW I learned it....but the fact is, that I KNEW THIS ONE!!! Where do you store yours? I still store them on the same shelf though.
