Try this trick to end up with thick, chewy cookies.

Scoop 1 tablespoon of dough into each well of a greased muffin tin instead of placing on a baking sheet. Since the cookies can’t spread during baking, they’ll stay plump and chewy!

OMG. Simply amazing!

But I did try one of your tips the other day and I have a question. When you're heating up sugar to melt your butter, how long does it need to stay in the micro? I don't think I left it in there long enough because my sugar didn't melt my butter. Boo. =(
