Fabric Teething Rings

You may remember me writing about our good friends, Team Jacie, and their new bundle of joy here. Well, since I have been out of work, he has been staying with me each day while his parents are at work. He is 7 months old now and has some teeth that have been trying to make their way in for a while. He doesn't really like a hard teether, so one day not too long ago, I decided to continue working on my beginner sewing skills by making a couple of fabric teething rings.

I just picked some fabric from my stash, pinned it all up, added some ribbon tags, sewed a big tube, stuffed it and then formed it into a circle. They aren't quite as circular as I would like and that would probably be achieved better by sewing 2 circles together, on top of each other, but I'm still just working on straight lines and didn't feel ready to tackle the curves that 2 circles would require.

But as you can see, my little buddy didn't seem to mind!

I'm linking this project up to Just a Girl's Show and Share Day.

These are great! I'm sure my 9-mo old niece would just loooove for me to make a few of these for her. I have given you the Versatile Blogger award! Please stop by my page to receive it.
