Elise - 11 Months

Dear Elise,

Yesterday you turned 11 months old. Here is what you are up to:

•You weighed 17lbs. 5oz. and were 28 inches long at your 9 month checkup. No updates here until your 1 year checkup.

•You still take a bottle every 4 hours and eat plenty of other yummies. You are a champ at eating and are eating mostly finger foods at this point, you've even started refusing the spoon, wanting only things that you can feed yourself...except for yogurt, you can't get enough of that.

•You have been caught feeding Scarlett food over the side of the high chair and this is finally endearing you to her.

•You are in bed by 8:30 most nights and sleep until 7 or 8, unless those evil teeth are bothering you.

•You wear size 2 diapers.

•You sleep with 5 pacifiers, since you have a habit of waking up and tossing them out and then wanting a spare. If we keep extras in your crib, you will just pop another in and go back to sleep.

•You have found the toilet paper...

•You are wearing all 9 months clothing. I am forcing some 12 months pieces on you since I think the season may change before you get to wear them.

•You have 2 teeth, both on the bottom.

•You are still a crawling machine, and you love to try to sit on the couch with me and climb over the back. I think we have a daredevil on our hands!

•You started 1/2 day preschool this month and you are in a small class of all girls with 2 really sweet teachers.

I cannot believe that this next time next month we will be celebrating with your 1st birthday party!

You are our sunshine on a cloudy day.

Mommy (and Daddy!)

Precious little thing! I can't get over how cute she is! You must make many more just like her!

Kidding, of course, that's totally none of my business! ;o)

She is so so cute!! Alex used to sleep with about that many paci's too; it was when she was over two and started waking up in the night because she could not find one of the five that I said enough and made her get rid of them.
Why is toilet paper so fun? :)
