Tipsy Tuesday (#223)

Do you know what you should always do while naked?

Tip #223

Apply your sunscreen! (What were you thinking? Shame on you, this is a family blog!)

Applying sunscreen without any clothes on ensures that you cover your whole body. Bathing suits and clothing move and shift during the day, so putting sunscreen on every inch of your body before you get dressed means less chance to have a sun mishap. No one wants a burn on the first day of vacation! P.S. Don't forget the tops of your feet and the part in your hair. I always burn there!

**Alright now, I'm talking tips, head over to see what Impulsive and Shawn are talking about on Talk to us Tuesday!**

That opening question had me wondering what your blog has turned into since I haven't stopped by in YEARS.

Barbie got burned. Ouch!

I always love your tips! =)

LOL! Did you make that Barbie picture? That's too funny!

Reminds me I need to go buy some sunscreen for this weekend. I hate wearing it, but it's one of those necessary evils!

Banana Boat makes a scalp spray which I love because my part used to always burn.

I've realized it doesn't matter how I put on sunscreen, I will burn in a handful of random places.

Agree w/ Lauren; I never thought about my scalp until a few months ago when I burned pretty badly and found that the top of my head hurt too!

Such a good point. You don't want to die of cancer!

That picture is too funny! You are so right about needing to apply sunscreen before getting dressed. I've also heard that the sun can filter through you clothes! My cousin in law got quite the sunburn through his shirt, ouch.

I can never go anywhere without my sunblock. I am irish and a redhead, and burn like a lobster. Ugh..but better safe thank sorry!

Very good advice! I usually pull my bathing suit straps down while applying, but I know my daughter's tankini often rides up in the back and if I don't remember to lift up and apply there she will get burnt
