Tip #218
Use these tips from Real Simple to make sure that you arrive at your destination with all of your stylish accessories intact.
Keep sets of earrings together by fastening them through the holes of a button. Who wants to get where they are going and have only 1 earring?
For tangle-free necklaces, unclasp the chain, thread it through a plastic drinking straw, and reclasp. For a shorter chain, cut the drinking straw to the desired length.

I've seen the straw trick (and am totally going to utilize that when we move this summer) but hadn't seen the button trick - both are genius!! Now to go collect some buttons for my earrings... :)

Oh...brilliant! When I go on trips, I usually only take a few pairs of earrings and one or two necklaces because they're such a pain - getting tangled, lost, what have you. Love these ideas!
