Tip #209
Work smarter, not harder (it's my life motto, people!).
All You magazine says, "In each room, work from top to bottom and from left to right in either a rectangular or circular motion. Dirt follows the laws of gravity, so start at the top and clean your way down; that way, you don’t need to redo surfaces."
Do you have a helpful spring cleaning tip? Let me know and I'll share it with credit to you!

My spring cleaning tip is to carry a trash bag with you from room to room. There is always something that needs thrown out and if the kids have left it on the floor, it's trash.
I had a moment of severe stupidity the last time I cleaned. I was almost done my room - dusted & floors were cleaned - and then I got the brainwave to clean my very dusty blinds. Once that was done, I had to dust the rest of the room and clean the floors AGAIN. What a ding dong.
Oh makes sense!
interesting...as a former nurse that was the rule for cleaning wounds.. clean to dirty!!
makes perfect sense
Or you could be like me and start at the top and lose interest halfway down...
I am cleaning from the minute I wake up until I go to bed and most of the time I feel like nothing has changed. I do believe I have 4 other people who are working against me in this effort. I need HELP!!
