Tipsy Tuesday (#199)

Finally, proof that the lid does belong down!

Tip #199

Flushing a toilet can be a hazard to your health, keep the lid down to help.

Closing the lid before flushing reduces the odds of getting a stomach bug, such as E. coli, or gastrointestinal parasites such as pinworms. When you flush with the lid up, bacteria from the bowl becomes airborne, landing on the sink, faucets, and other surfaces. Ladies, please share with your men and feel free to thank me later. After all, who among us hasn't fallen in when its dark...you have fallen in, right?

**Alright now, I'm talking tips, head over to see what Impulsive and Shawn are talking about on Talk to us Tuesday!**

Holy cow that is gross!! But I don't even have the whole lid down when I flush, just the seat part is already down, so I bet that doesn't really block the germs. Usually I have the actual lid up to make sure it all goes down. Might put it down and check when it is done now.
