Tipsy Tuesday (#196)

It's a germy time of year...

Tip #196

did you know you need to protect your purse?

When you set your purse under a restaurant table or on the bathroom floor, you are exposing your purse to over 10,000 bacteria per square inch. Then you set your purse in the car, on your bed, on the kitchen table, etc., and they spread. Always hang your purse on the back of your chair when eating out or hold on your lap when in the bathroom stall just to be safe. And don't forget to wipe it off with a disinfectant wipe weekly.

As a side note, do you call yours a purse, handbag, pocketbook, what? Small bag or big enough for the kitchen sink?

**Alright now, I'm talking tips, head over to see what Impulsive and Shawn are talking about on Talk to us Tuesday!**

I hadn't thought of that until one day I plunked my purse down on a table, and a friend of mine curled up her nose and asked me to remove it - I was confused, and she said, "Do you know where purses go? On the floor. In bathrooms. They're full of germs." I consider myself a bit of a germaphobe, and it shocked me that I'd never thought of this!

I don't have a huge purse - but ita's amazing how much junk I can collect in it! haha! And yes, I call mine a purse :)

I don't clean my purse. I really should!

I call my coach purse a handbag. But all my others...I call a purse.

I try not to ever put my purse on the floor. If we are eating out we usually sit at a table for 4 and I'll put it in the chair next to me or on the back if I have to. When I go to to a restroom that doesn't have the hook on the back of the door I can usually hook it on the door latch or something. So gross!

I have a medium sized purse that I carry every day and then a large tote that I also bring in to work.

I never considered that...yikes! How do you clean the germs off a fabric purse? (aside from washing it)
