Boston Cream Pie is Not Just for Yankees

This month's Cake Slice Baker's selection was Boston Cream Pie. Its the official dessert of Massachussets, but this southern gal loves it! I was excited to try it out, and although I would have preferred a little more filling, all in all, I was pleased. A definite improvement over last month's Tiramisu Cake, that is for sure.

I don't enjoy tiramisu. AT ALL. But I'm sad to say that I've never tried a Boston cream pie. How pathetic. Maybe you should send me a slice? Just a thought..

Looks soooo good...One of my favourite donuts is the Boston Cream, so I'm thinking I'd be okay with this too... ;)

Your slice looks great. I never actually got a clean slice of it. I took mine to my moms, when I got home the whole things fell apart and looked like an avalanche of Boston cream. haha!
