Save money and your back!

Tip #113


Fill the bottom half of a flower pot with packing peanuts (don't cover the drainage hole!), then cover with potting soil.


The soil will provide the nutrients the plant needs, while the peanuts will lighten up the pot and improve drainage.

That is BRILLIANT! I filled my large pot on the front porch with bricks.

That is a good idea! Just make sure they aren't the biodegradable kind! Not quite time in Delaware for porch pots but soon I hope!
