Just in case you missed Tip #53 about salt stains on suede or leather shoes, here is an alternative.
Soak a cotton ball in a mixture of 1 cup water and 1 tablespoon white vinegar and wipe it over the spots. The acid in the vinegar will dissolve the salt without damaging the leather.
