Bead Soup Blog Party

Lori over at Pretty Things is hosting a Bead Soup Blog Party. She's paired us up with a partner, who in a twist, uses completely different beading mediums than we do, and challenged us to get out of our comfort zone and create.

I received my beads from my partner, Terry at Tapping Flamingo (Isn't that a fun blog name?) in the mail this week. Now I have about a month to create my piece. I have no clue what I am going to make yet, but I'm hoping to be able to work in the wire that Terry sent--her Dad, a former NASA engineer, rescued it from the trash pile at the Kennedy Space Center in the 70's when they rewired the phone system. How cool is that? I'm going to leave the beads sitting out for a few days and wait for inspiration. I'll check back in on reveal day and show you what I created. Thanks Terry (and Lori)!
