It's cold, it's raining, and I have been itching to can something. Katie posted a link to this Caramel Apple Jam recipe a while back and apples were on sale for 75 cents a pound (why is there a dollar sign on the keyboard, but you have to type out cents?), so the decision was made--tonight's task: can Caramel Apple jam! (Begin rant here) Dear Lowe's Home Improvement, if apples are in season and I want to can apple jam, then canning supplies are still "seasonal," please carry them..(End of rant)
A very easy recipe and so yummy! Bonus: the house totally smells like fall right now!

Thanks for giving my recipe a shout out! It does taste delish! As for canning supplies Wal-Mart usually carries them year round. I enjoy canning and am always in need of more jobs. Happy to be your newest follower.
