Tipsy Tuesday (#59)

Spring is here, the weather is warming up, and increased outside time means scraped knees and elbows for little ones..

Tip #59

Add this to your first aid kit or glove box and be prepared to stop a bleeding scrape quickly.

A pepper packet, like you get in restaurants, when sprinkled onto a clean cut will cause blood to coagulate and the spice's antibacterial properties will prevent infection. An added bonus? It won't sting! Rinse away the pepper after 5 minutes and your little one can get back to having fun!

I never knew that. I guess I'll be getting a handful of pepper packets when I go out to eat because my kids get boo boos all the time. Thanks for the tip.
