This past week wrapped up my Advent Swap with Illene . I received a lavender sachet (smells so good), a refrigerator magnet with our family photo, a cute reindeer cork, and several handmade treasures, including a beautiful Christmas napkin holder.All leading up to my Christmas Day gift--this incredible handmade angel ornament. Knowing that Illene's daughter, Lorraine, is bravely battling cancer and is often not feeling well, and must certainly be in need of Illene's care, it means so much that she would go to so much trouble to stitch and bead this beauty. It will grace our tree and remind us of our friend down under for many years to come! Thanks for everything, Illene!
