A Few Jewelry Projects

One of the things that I love most about crafting is being able to make gifts to share. I had some great helpers in VBS this year and wanted to thank them with a little gift. I chose the elephant charms because one of my helpers happened to mention that she loves them and has quite a collection of all things elephant. The glass tile pendant with a modern design was a natural choice for my other helper--a sweet, young college girl.

I also recently made some earrings to coordinate with a bracelet that I had made for my aunt and another pair for a new online friend.

I think that I love making earrings the most because they are usually quick and offer instant gratification--glass tile pendants take 24 hours to dry and that seems like an eternity to an impatient crafter--but with some of the great images that you can purchase for next to nothing on Etsy, the possibilities are endless!

This one is going to be perfect for a photography loving friend who needs a little pick-me-up!

You are crazy talented. I just looked at this post and was thinking I loved these earrings. In walks Lon to give me a package in the mail. You sent me the earrings!!! You are such a sweet friend and I appreciate the package more than you will ever know. I'll try to get a pic of the earrings on Sunday before church. I'll be wearing them! The diet survival kit was a hoot. Thanks again so much. I'm gonna blog about it all next week sometime. For now I am off to the river for the weekend, but wanted to let you know I got it.
