How can you prevent boiling water from spilling out of the pot?
Placing a wooden spoon or chopstick across the top of your pot will keep the water from boiling over. I am all for anything that saves me clean up time in the kitchen!

Well that's cool! How does it work? And does it work if your pot is REALLY boiling?
I swear that only seems to work for me half of the time, I don't know why sometimes it doesn't.
