Did you know that restaurant prices and wait times are super inflated on February 14th?
There's no rule that says you must celebrate Valentine's Day on Feb. 14. Celebrate it on a different night and you'll avoid inflated prices.

I knew about the wait times didn't realize that about the prices, crazy! Ever since we started our fancy family v-day dinner, we don't go out on V-day. We have that on it then go out another night when things aren't so busy, didn't realize we were saving money that way too
This is exactly why we don't eat out on Valentine's Day! I can't stand waiting for a table and feeling rushed to finish so that someone else can have my table.
I'll be cooking dinner at home, but earlier in the day I'm going to my favorite dessert shop to pick each of us out something special for after dinner. :o) What are your plans?
