Oh, how I have been feeling the pain of not doing this myself since I returned from summer break last week...
Tip #178
Start working on your back to school schedule NOW!
The first day of school is no time for a drastic adjustment of household sleep
schedules. Instead, ease children (or adults, if you happen to work in the school system, like me!) back into a school year routine gradually.
During the last two weeks of summer, re-introduce a school year bedtime. Begin
waking late sleepers earlier and earlier, closer to the hour they'll need to
rise when school begins. It will make the first day a lot easier...for everybody.

That is a good plan!
This is our first time in actual school (not just daycare( so schedules are going to have to be created for sure!
We started this yesterday! IT's a lifesaver!
Funny you should mention this, I was just telling Princess Nagger last night that she's going to have to start going to bed earlier and get up earlier (she's my mega late sleeper) since she starts school two weeks from tomorrow. Here's hoping it's a success! :)

Perfect advice! Emma starts a 2-day program at a church in a couple weeks. She has to be there at 8:30. She's rarely up by then!!!
