Tipsy Tuesday (#171)

I love fresh summer corn and

Tip #171

using a plain old bundt pan makes cutting it off of the cob and freezing that flavor for year 'round a snap!

Shuck your corn as you usually would and stand the corn cob upright, with the tip of the cob placed in the center hole of the bundt pan.

Holding the cob steady, use a sharp knife and make long downward strokes on the cob, separating the kernels from the cob. The kernels fall right into the pan!

**Alright now, I'm talking tips, head over to see what Impulsive and Shawn are talking about on Talk to us Tuesday!**

I love this idea! Except I never freeze corn but I don't enjoy eating it on the cob these days with the braces. I'm sure you can imagine the MESS in my mouth! And you know I have a bundt pan!

Thanks for linking up! How's that baby girl? Kicking you yet? I hope so.

We don't get enough corn to make this worth while, but it is a great idea.

Excellent idea, as usual! I hate frozen corn unless it's the fresh stuff I freeze myself! Yum, can't wait for the first cobs of the summer! :)

Where was this little tidbit of knowledge 30 years ago when I had my braces?

Baby? So exciting!

well that looks like a great idea! When I start cooking some day, I'll have to remember this tip!! My kids love corn on the cob but it does get messy-- Reese can't handle the handles and rolls it down her chest to move it to the uneaten area- so taking it off might help reduce the butter shirts.
