Tip #168
which works out well, if I need to polish any copper.
Did you know that you can shine small copper items by dipping a cotton swab in ketchup and applying it to the object? Just wipe off, then polish with a cotton cloth. It worked like a charm on one of my favorite bracelets!

I did NOT know this!
I'll have to try this on my copper bottom pans.
I don't own anything copper but if I did and it needed polishing I'd be trouble since I cannot stand the smell of ketchup!
Thanks for linking up, you know I just love your tips!
see i knew ketchup was good just didn't know you could polish with it
Ketchup is good, and a lemon will work too, especially on those copper bottom pans.
I had NO idea...the things ya learn on Tipsy Tuesday!!!
I have a small problem with ketchup. I don't like it. The smell makes me gag. And M doesn't like it either but Emma does....no thanks to my sister in law for making the introduction. I can handle mustard. Why can't she like mustard instead? Ketchup reminds me of blood. I don't like blood. Is this too much info?
Oooooh! This is something I did not know - and I have a lot of copperware that are waiting for when we move next year and get a house with a bigger/better kitchen...so I can hang them nicely. I'll totally be breaking out the ketchup and polishing them up! :)
