Nursery DIY: Who Needs IKEA?

There are these cute IKEA spice rack bookshelves all over Pinterest and I thought they would be perfect for the nursery...problem was all of the cool Moms saw them, too and beat me to IKEA, buying out the shelves, with no restock date in sight. What was a girl to do?

 Back to the internet drawing board...Another online find was the idea of making bookshelves out of gutters. With $25 worth of vinyl gutter, end caps, and brackets, the Rev was able to install these shelves in no time. I actually like them better than the IKEA shelf idea and since our church family had everyone at our shower present us with a book for Elise, they offer more storage, so that all of her books can be on display.

 Who needs IKEA?
