Tipsy Tuesday (#174)

Want perfect photos of tomorrow's fireworks display?

Tip #174

Go flash-less.

Shooting with a flash will have no impact on your shots except to trick your camera into thinking it needs a short exposure time. Keep in mind that your camera’s flash will only reach a short distance and in the case of fireworks even if they were closer a flash wouldn’t really have anything to light except for some smoke which would distract from the real action (the flashing lights).

  6. great tip! Although I'd probably end up just using my iphone b/c I'm lazy-- but you know, they didn't even do fireworks by our house like they normally do!? So disappointed! Hope you had a great 4th
