Clean out your summer sunscreen stash, but don't throw away the bottles that will expire before next season...
Did you know that expired lotion makes excellent shaving cream? The thick formula will create a barrier that will prevent razor burn. and you'll get some extra moisturizing while you are at it!

ReplyDeleteI recently go rid of our old sunscreen. WE have a tendency to keep it around, but then it gets all yucky.
ReplyDeleteExcellent tip - I always end up with too much conditioner and I've been told I can use it as shaving cream - but I didn't know about the sunscreen! Makes sense!!
ReplyDeleteI leanred my lesson on expired sunscreen the hard way. Living in Florida I throw it away at the end of October and purchase new sometime in Feb-March. It's still sunny here but not as harmful...I think.
